On Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 12:00 PM, an appointment ceremony for the newly designated overseas advisory members of the 22nd Democratic Peace and Unification Advisory Council (민주평통) was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Islamabad.
Deputy Ambassador Park Jae-rak presided over the ceremony and formally presented appointment certificates to the newly appointed advisory members, Lee Young-hee and Choi Sung-oh. He encouraged the members to actively contribute by offering policy recommendations related to peace and peaceful unification, and by strengthening local support in the host country, including Pakistan, for relevant unification and peace policies.
The ceremony concluded in a cordial and dignified atmosphere. The newly appointed members expressed their commitment to fulfilling their responsibilities with dedication and sincerity.
