On the occasion of Pakistan’s Defense Day (Yaum-i-Difa), Reza Amiri Moghadam, the Honorable Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan, conveyed his heartfelt greetings to the Armed Forces, Government, and People of Pakistan.
In his official message, the Ambassador lauded Pakistan’s sacrifices and commended the spirit of national unity and resilience demonstrated by the Pakistani nation.
Reflecting on the significance of the day, Ambassador Moghadam expressed his deep admiration for the bravery and dedication of Pakistan’s Armed Forces, who have continuously defended their homeland with unwavering resolve. He paid tribute to the Pakistani Shuhada (martyrs) for their selfless service and supreme sacrifice in safeguarding the nation.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran greatly values the brotherly ties with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. I earnestly desire that the existing bond of friendship between our two brotherly countries continues to grow stronger,” Ambassador Moghadam remarked, reaffirming the enduring commitment to strengthening bilateral relations.
The message was also shared across the official social media platforms of the Iranian Embassy in Pakistan, underlining Iran’s solidarity with Pakistan on this significant day of national pride.
Pakistan observes Defense Day annually on September 6 to commemorate the bravery of its military forces in the 1965 war, honoring the sacrifices made to defend the country’s sovereignty.
