A delegation from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, led by Interior Minister Mullah Sirajuddin Haqqani, met with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed strengthening friendly relations and cooperation between their countries.
According to Arab media, the discussions focused on enhancing ties to fulfill mutual interests and contribute to regional stability. The leaders also addressed economic and developmental issues, as well as reconstruction efforts in Afghanistan.
The UAE government assured its support for the reconstruction and development of Afghanistan. Taliban’s Chief of Intelligence, Mullah Abdul Haq Wasiq, was also present at the meeting.
