Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar will lead Pakistan’s delegation at the 32nd Ministerial Meeting of the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF), scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 11 July 2025.
The meeting will bring together Foreign Ministers and representatives from 27 ARF member countries, including the Secretary-General of ASEAN. The participants will deliberate on key political and security challenges in the Asia-Pacific region, with emphasis on regional peace, stability, and dialogue-based cooperation.
During his visit, Senator Ishaq Dar will also hold bilateral meetings with the Malaysian Foreign Minister and other counterparts attending the Forum. Additionally, he will interact with the Pakistani diaspora residing in Kuala Lumpur.
The ASEAN Regional Forum, established in 1994, is a crucial platform for multilateral consultations on peace and security. Pakistan has been a proactive member of the ARF since joining in 2004 and continues to play a constructive role in regional engagement.
