PANAH Hosts Free Health Festival for Journalists and Their Families at National Press Club

Journalists are at core of all activities of Pakistan National Heart Association. PANAH organized a free health festival for journalists and their families. This festival was organized on 22 December at National Press club Islamabad. In thi free medical camp (health fair), doctors from all departments examined the patients for free, all necessary medical tests were conducted for free and necessary medicines were provided for free.

 

PANAH president and well-known cardiac surgeon Major General (retd) Dr. Masood ur Rahman Kayani and Secretary General Panah Sanaullah Ghumman Executive Vice President Colonel Shakeel Mirza, president Azhar jatoi president islamabad press club, president RIUJ Mr. Tariq Wirk and National Press Club Secretary Journalist Nayar Ali and Aamir Butt played an important role in decorating the festival. This medical camp Paid had the full support of PANAH and Press Club officials.

 

Among the doctors who participated in this fair are expert cardio surgeon Major General (retd) Dr. Ashoor Khan, medical specialist Dr. Abdul Qayyum Awan, diabetes specialist Col. Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Mirza, neurosurgeon Dr. M. Ashraf, Dr. Brigadier Dr. Muhammad Saleem, Dr. Colonel Junaid Saleem. Gynecologist Dr. Zahida, Gynecologist Dr. Asma Qamar, Gynecologist Dr. Zahra Bano, Prof. Dr. K. F. Danish, pediatric specialist Dr. Abdul Rasheed Kant, Medical Specialist Brigadier Dr. Tariq Parvez, Medical Specialist Brigadier Dr. Shehzad, Dr. Khalid Ansari, Ophthalmologist Prof. Dr. Tahir Sharif, Brigadier Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed, Skin Specialist Prof. Dr. Azhar Haleem, Urologist Dr. Abdul Ghaffar, Cardiologist Dr. Wajiha, Col. Dr. Gul Muhammad, Dr. Riaz, psychologist Dr. Masood, psychologist Dr. Maryam, psychiatrist Dr. Zona and Dr. Tariq Malik were involved. The camp was hosted and arranged by Panah General Secretary Sanaullah Ghaman and Press Club Secretary General Neer Ali.

 

A large number of journalists and their families were checked up by doctors, required tests were done and free medicines were provided to them.
