Rawalpindi :Pakistan’s security forces have killed 15 India-backed Khawarij terrorists in two separate intelligence-based operations carried out in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported.
According to ISPR, the operations were conducted on 15 and 16 November based on confirmed intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists.
The first operation took place in Kulachi, Dera Ismail Khan, where security forces effectively targeted a terrorist hideout. The raid resulted in the killing of 10 terrorists, including their key commander Alam Mehsud.
In the second operation in Dattakhel, North Waziristan, security forces killed 5 more terrorists linked to the same group.
ISPR stated that clearance and sanitization operations are underway to eliminate any remaining India-backed militants in the area.
The statement added that security forces and law-enforcement agencies will continue operations with full force under the federal apex committee–approved strategy “Azm-e-Istahkam” to eradicate all forms of foreign and domestic terrorism.
