West Bank – Israeli forces fatally shot a 15-year-old Palestinian boy, Rayan Tamer Hawshiya, during a military raid in Al-Yamoun, near Jenin, on Wednesday, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. The teenager was struck in the neck amid heavy gunfire reported by local residents.

The Israeli military claimed its forces responded after “terrorists” threw explosives, stating they “identified and fired on additional threats.” No Israeli injuries were reported.

Accourding To CNN,In a separate incident, 66-year-old Zahia Joudeh al-Obeidi died from a gunshot wound to the head after Israeli police raided Shuafat refugee camp in occupied East Jerusalem. Israeli police have launched an investigation into the incident.

Tensions have escalated sharply following a violent settler attack in Kafr Malik, where Israeli settlers set fire to Palestinian homes and vehicles. Opposition politician Yair Golan described the violence as a “Jewish pogrom.” The Israeli army reported five arrests and confirmed gunfire during the clashes.

Additional attacks by settlers occurred near Taybeh and Jericho, injuring several people and destroying more property. According to B’Tselem and the Palestine Red Crescent, masked settlers torched cars and set homes ablaze, forcing many Palestinians to flee.

UNRWA’s West Bank Affairs Director Roland Friedrich said Israeli actions amount to “systematic forced displacement” in violation of international law. Entire neighborhoods in Jenin, Tulkarm, and Nur Shams camps have been razed in the last two weeks, leaving families without shelter or possessions.

Since October 7, 2023, at least 947 Palestinians, including 200 children, have been killed by Israeli forces or settlers in the West Bank. During the same period, 39 Israeli civilians have died in the region, according to official reports.
