Palestine’s Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa Highlights Arab League’s Role in Implementing Reconstruction Plan

Palestinian Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammad Mustafa at a Joint Press Conference with the Arab League Secretary-General Following the Extraordinary Arab Summit in Cairo:

 

According to the media reports, Dr Mustafa emphasized the importance of unifying Gaza and the West Bank, expressing hope for a serious contribution to strengthening Palestinian national unity.

 

Affirmed that the Palestinian National Authority has service and administrative institutions, and that the reconstruction process will be carried out under a governance framework and an independent body overseeing its implementation.

 

Stated that the plan will be presented to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to develop it into a joint Arab-Islamic initiative, followed by engagement with European countries, the United States, and Japan to present the plan and its details.

 

He further highlighted the significance of the upcoming International Conference for Gaza Reconstruction, which Cairo will host next month with high-level participation.

 

Reaffirmed that the final communiqué of the Arab Summit addressed all aspects of the Palestinian cause, and that efforts will continue with all relevant parties to implement Gaza’s reconstruction plan.
